I'm an adult and I bought this book to learn Spanish; after a year or so on Duolingo and after reading several A1/ A2 level stories I finally took the plunge to and try a "chapter" kid's book, and to this end I felt this series was absolutely perfect, both in terms of reading level and in terms of keeping my interest.As a beginner Spanish reader I really appreciated the consistent repeat of the same vocabulary words (increasing the chances I can infer a word's meaning based on context and without having to use a dictionary), as well as the occasional picture. Meanwhile, the story itself was engaging, funny and more than appealing enough to buy the sequels (I just finished book 10). I'm so happy I found this gem of a series!My daughter, age 4, loves Jack and Annie after reading this introduction! Great story, easy to understand and short chapters for adults to read at bedtime. Grateful many of the books have been translated.Mi hijo de seis años lee correctamente en inglés, pero su aprendizaje del español está un poco por detrás. Estoy intentando comprar libros en español para intentar mejorarlo. Magic Treehouse (Casa del Árbol) es una de sus series de libros favoritas (junto con Dog Man, Little Men y Geronimo Stilton. Este es el primer libro de la serie y es donde los protagonistas descubren la casa del árbol con los libros que les permiten viajar a las aventuras que hay escritas en ellos.El libro es interesante. La primera vez lo hemos leído juntos, y a partir de ahí ya puede leerlo él solo. Hay ilustraciones cada pocas páginas que le ayudan a comprender mejor lo que está pasando. En general, esta es una serie muy recomendada, y la versión en español es igual de buena que la original.I bought a few books in this series to help me learn Spanish. They are great little books for intermediate learners. Lots of past tense verbs to practice.I was learning Spanish at the time I decided to try to read this book and some of the other magic tree house books in Spanish. At first it used words I hadn't heard before but I got an electronic translator and it made a huge difference in my comprehension of spanish! I learned a lot of new words and my sentence structure became a lot better! I keep going back and reading this book to help remind me. If you are a beginner to spanish I would start with something easier to learn more words before you start with this one.My son has been in an immersion Spanish language program since kindergarten. He is now a third grader. He asked for a Spanish book and I ordered this one. He was very excited when he got it on his birthday. Then he told me he loved it "because I already it at my school." Well, now he has a copy at home!Leí este libro con mi niño de 5 años y le encantó. Es corto y el vocabulario apropiado para su edad, no tuvo ningún problema en entender lo que le estaba leyendo. Definitivamente ordenaremos mas libros de la serie.Excelente calidad. Libros en perfecto estado.Tenemos toda la colección de La Casa del Árbol en español y la hemos disfrutado mucho hasta ahora. Sin libros fáciles de leer para lectores nuevos con personajes con los que nuestros hijos pueden identificarse y aventuras emocionantes para fomentar el amor por la lectura.Considerando que el original es escrito en inglés, la traducción me parece muy buena, en un nivel de lenguaje con el que con seguridad tendrán que aprender un par de palabras nuevas, pero no por eso difícil de entender.No esperen que sus hijos encuentren el sentido de la vida o aprendan a ser mejores personas dentro de las páginas de estos libros, pero si esa no es la meta, los recomiendo completamente.Ideal para niños de 7-8 años. A mi hija le han gustado mucho y además, aunque son historias diferentes hay un punto de misterio que va pasando de libro en libro... así estimula al os peques a seguir leyendo los demás.Die Geschichte handelt wie alle der Serie von einem Ausflug mit einem magischen Baumhaus, das die beiden Kinder in die Zeit der Dinosaurier versetzt. Die Geschichte ist nett geschrieben, und man lernt ein wenig über die Dinosaurier. Die Bilder könnten ab und zu ein wenig schöner gezeichnet sein. Insgesamt trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen. Meine 3.5-jährige Tochter findet die Bücher toll.Lo he comprado por el precio, es un muy buen precio, pero está en español latino, con expresiones como verbos en pasado, lentes en lugar de gafas, etc.Habe dieses Buch bzw. weitere der Reihe für meine Patenkinder im Ausland gekauft und freue mich, dass sie auf so unterhaltsame Weise, Spannung und Lesefreude in einem vereint haben. Gerne wieder!
