I used this book myself for a year before buying it for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. She was always asking for my recipe's. It arrived in new condition and was exactly like my own book except it was large (12 x 9 size) compared to my own book (a 5 x 7 size). The recipes are from all over the world with colorful photos - both step-by-step and finished product. Recipes are in metric and imperial measurements so easy to follow whatever your used to. The front section goes into detail about the different ingredients used in bread (flours, yeast, water, etc.), and then follows with a section on baking bread by hand. The last section of the book covers baking with bread machines. I have other bread books, but this one is tops, hands down and likely has every type of bread made anywhere in the world!
